Team History

2007 was this teams first year in the league and it was a learning experience. Now, being a year older and having last years experience to build on, this team hopes to be a contender in Nebraska 10 and under.

About the Coaches

Larry Feerhusen has been an assistant coach and has had two daughters play for the Lincoln Swingers. He and his wife, Amy, are on the Board of Directors of Swingers Youth Services. This year he will have a daughter helping to coach the team and a granddaughter playing on the team. He is the owner of Del Gould Meats.

Jamie Klein played for the Lincoln Swingers from 1987-1992, and was on the 14 and under ASA "B" State Championship team. She graduated from Bryan School of Nursing and is now an RN in Lincoln.

Shannon Vandewege played for the Lincoln Swingers from 1983-1989. During that time she was on 5 ASA Class "A" State Championship teams. She is a graduate of Nebraska Wesleyan.

Kristin Feerhusen played for the Lincoln Swingers from 2000-2003. She graduated from Lincoln Southeast and is now pursuing a career in radiology.
